Lyceum Theatre presents A Strange Loop, a Pulitzer-prize winning musical. A spokesperson for the show describes “Meet Usher: a Black, queer writer writing a musical about a Black, queer writer writing a musical about a Black, queer writer...”. Usher, played by Jaquel Spivey, struggles with his identity and desires.

A Strange Loop was written by Michael R. Jackson and is directed by Stephen Brackett. The ensemble cast are presented as thoughts from Usher’s mind.
