An Evening With Groucho, a two-act comedy with music, showcases comedian, Groucho Marx (1890-1977), played by Frank Ferrante. Born the middle son of Jewish immigrants, Groucho Marx never made it past sixth grade, yet for 72 years he created entertainment on stage, radio, film, books and television. The show combines biography, music, pop culture history and stand-up about one of the most famous comedians in US history.

During the improv-rich performance, Ferrante as Groucho sings Hooray for Captain Spaulding, Lydia The Tattooed Lady, Gilbert & Sullivan’s Willow, Tit-Willow and dances and relates stories of his brothers, Harpo and Chico and friends, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields and poet T.S. Eliot.
