Elmhurst History Museum Presents SPRING BREAK SNOOPYPALOOZA Preview

If that spring break trip to warmer climates isn’t on the horizon this year, fear not—the Elmhurst History Museum has the perfect family “stay-cation” solution: Snoopypalooza!

Spring Break Snoopypalooza is a week of fun and mostly free activities for families to celebrate the opening of the Elmhurst History Museum’s latest exhibit from the Charles M. Schulz Museum, “Snoopy and the Red Baron,” which opens on March 23. From March 24 through March 31 (the museum is closed March 26), families are invited to visit the exhibit and participate in any of the scheduled Snoopypalooza activities. Most programs are FREE with no registration required unless noted. Children must be accompanied by an adult. See the Family Programs section at www.elmhursthistory.org for the latest details.

While at the Elmhurst History Museum for Snoopypalooza, visitors are welcome to be among the first to see “Snoopy and the Red Baron,” a new traveling exhibit from the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA. The exhibit shares the story of one of the most popular and charismatic Peanuts characters: Snoopy as the World War I Flying Ace. Visitors will learn about this favorite Peanuts storyline through reproductions of Schulz’s original comic strip artwork, photographs, film clips, toys, collectibles, books, and more. Kids can try on aviator caps and goggles for a photo-op next to Snoopy’s doghouse.

Pack your bags and head to Elmhurst History Museum for Spring Break Snoopypalooza starting March 24. The Elmhurst History Museum is located at 120 E. Park Ave. in downtown Elmhurst. Museum hours are Sunday and Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is free, and limited free parking is available.
