Join violinist Jeff Yang and cellist Matt Agnew for a concert spanning three centuries of music from Bach to the Beatles. In addition to celebrating John Lennon's 80th birthday this month, this program will include a work by Chevalier de St Georges, the first African classical composer from the 18th century. The program will also include duo versions of classical music by other famous composers.
The concert will benefit the Musicians Assistance Fund at the Chicago Philharmonic and 50% of the ticket price will go to help musicians out of work due to the pandemic.
Music for violin and cello by Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Chevalier de St Georges, Bizet, Brahms, Copland, Ravel, and The Beatles
