Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company presents its Chinese New Year celebration with YEAR OF THE GOLDEN OX, an all-day, virtual celebration suitable for children 6 - 15. It showcases many of the traditional Chinese dances done during the New Year, such as the Lion Dance and the Dragon Dance. In addition, the company will be showing, a folkdance native to the Xingjian province and performances of the erhu, the ruan, the pipa, Chinese Opera, and Kuaiban, a form of rap originating in Beijing.

In addition to the cultural performances, audience members will be able to join in a live discussion with the dancers, musicians, and artists.
