Project Bound Dance presents its new performance, Imprint. In collaboration with vocal artist Jazelle Morriss, artistic directors Ashley Deran and Ericka Vaughn experiment with the idea of soul and soles while addressing the impact of social status and material worth.

Actor and vocal artist Jazelle Morriss (Steppenwolf Theatre, Congo Square Theatre, Black Ensemble Theatre) joins Bound’s company of six dancers on stage throughout the evening. She will be combining three original spoken word pieces with the movement that surrounds her.

The evening will also feature a screening of seven dance for camera works created through Bound’s One Hour Project. An exploration of concision, the One Hour Project gives a choreographer, videographer, and Project Bound Dancer 60 minutes to create a 60 second dance for camera in specific spaces and places.  Featured artists include Mary O'Rourke, Sarah Baker, Jordan Reinwald, Chih Hsien Lin, Cara Scrementi, Connor Cornelius, Tate Glover, Dina Liberatore, Jenna Jo Pawlicki, Lorena Barrera, and Jordan Beyeler.
