2018 Riot Fest Preview - Corporate Free Music
Since 2005, Chicago has hosted Riot Fest, a festival made famous for diverse, contemporary lineups and reunions of historic bands such as the Misfits, the Replacements, and Jawbreaker. Although Blink-182 is no longer in the lineup, this year’s Riot Fest will include big names like Blondie, Weezer, Run The Jewels, Interpol, and more.
Riot Fest prides itself on being independent of corporate interests by curating acts with its fans interests and hearts in mind. Riot Fest is a three-day celebration of punk, rock ‘n’ roll, hip-hop, metal, indie rock, roots music hosted at Douglas Park. Alongside musical acts, the festival includes food vendors, sideshow performers, rides, beer and more.
Riot Fest runs from September 14th through September 16. Featured bands and festival schedule are listed below:
