Saugatuck Center for the Arts WELL-STRUNG QUARTET

The Well-Strung quartet entertains with LGBTQ-themed comedy, singing, personal insights, and a diverse program of music.

The quartet consists of New York based classically trained members Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola). Well-Strung is as well-versed in playing Beethoven as they are Madonna.

Conceived by Mark Cortale and Christopher Marchant, the foursome formed in 2012 and has since gained international attention. They have performed in venues as diverse as the Vatican and for the Hillary Clinton, 2016 presidential candidate, in a special performance of their viral music video “Chelsea’s Mom”, and also accompanying divas from the opera world to pop/rock stars.
