Online via Zoom

The Second City will now begin live streaming comedy performances via Zoom. The shows will feature Second City talent and alumni, allowing the audience at home to participate and give suggestions to the performers.

Additionally, The Second City Training Center is expanding its online programming with brand-new classes. These digital classes are designed for everyone—especially for the millions of people craving social interaction instead of social media right now.

“As social distancing separates us physically, we’ve had to improvise the ways we hang out and remain connected. The Second City Training Center immediately rose to the challenge in pioneering new ways, and I’m excited to announce that we’ve adapted our entire curriculum for online compatibility. Turns out, improv works online! If we all need to hunker down for a while, it’s essential that we are still able to spend time together and laugh,” said Second City Hollywood Artistic Director Joshua Funk.

The new classes can be taken for 4-weeks, 8-weeks, or a one-time drop-in class. Internet and web camera access is required, all ages are welcome, pajamas are optional.

Prices:

Zoom comedy performances are free, donations welcome

Classes start at $25
