“...The Opera Cowgirls, the world’s premiere all-female, alt-country opera fusion band, return to Chicago for the first time since the pandemic, featuring founder and Chicago native, Caitlin McKechney. The Rosina Project, Chicago Fringe Opera’s long-running, smash hit, hip-hop retelling of Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” , features MCs and street dancers from the original cast, including MC Khary Laurent, beatboxer Yuri Basho Lane, and BraveSoul Movement’s BRAVEMONK. The Tapestry, founded by Lyric Opera Ryan Center alum Corey Crider, comes to Chicago from Kentucky to bring their unique blend of opera and rock ‘n’ roll to Chicago for the first time..."
