Bad Town LLC, an independent art label that serves the Greater Philadelphia area, will host its first Virtual Art Party, bringing together visual artists across all mediums and skill levels to connect and inspire creativity while in quarantine as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I've lost count of the number of times my artists say, ‘I really want to start this project, I just cannot find the time.’ Now we find ourselves in a unique situation where social pressures, commute times and non-essential activities have been eliminated,” Sineni said. “The Virtual Art Party is a way to take advantage of our newly found free time without sacrificing the ability to collaborate, share ideas and create art together.”

The Virtual Art Party is the launch event for Bad Town’s new emergency-response business model, which pivots how the company connects artists and promotes art during a time of social distancing. By shifting from in-person programming, Bad Town will now prioritize digital platforms.

“Since our founding in January of 2019, Bad Town has supported our clientele of artists and community of art enthusiasts with in-person events, including craft shows and networking events,” said Bad Town Founder Samantha Sineni. “During this time of social isolation, we will continue to expand our connections through new digital offerings like webinars, virtual art parties, networking opportunities, e-galleries and enhanced e-commerce solutions.”
