Pearl Cleague’s comedy Angry, Raucous, and Shamelessly Gorgeous is all about aging gracefully and gorgeously, according to the show's promoters. The play’s main character, 65-year-old Anna Campbell, sparked controversy when she bared it all on stage years ago. When a theatre festival asks to re-stage the work with a younger actress in her role, drama and comedy ensue. Starring in the performance are actresses Debbie Allen, Phylicia Rashad, Heather Alicia Simms, and Alicia Stith, under the direction of Camille A. Brown.
