High Concept Laboratories NFP (HCL) will be hosting its Spring 2018 Open House, biannual art party for people of all ages to enjoy drinks, appetizers and special performances from HCL’s Sponsored Artists sharing works-in-progress across music, dance, installations and multimedia art forms.
“Facilitating connections between artists and audiences is a central part of our mission at High Concept Labs,” said Steven Wang, executive director of HCL. “The Open House is not only an opportunity for students, fans, patrons, fellow artists and the general public to engage with the truly unique and innovative art happening right now in Chicago.”
HCL has invited the public to its Open House since the organization’s formation in 2009, including the event as a core feature of the HCL Sponsored Artists program, which hosts a full range of no-cost support for artists to promote their long-term growth.
Each Open House includes new works and installations by present and past Sponsored Artists, providing hundreds of participants the opportunity to interact with new creations by leading artists from Chicago and abroad, highlighting their impact and interaction with the city’s dynamic arts community.
