“...Behind the scenes of the Paris Opera, a mysterious phantom roams, scheming to transform his favorite soprano into a star. He terrorizes the administration into giving Christine a breakthrough leading role. But the phantom cannot win over her heart, which belongs to a nobleman: Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny. In desperation, the phantom abducts Christine and holds her prisoner in the mysterious catacombs beneath the opera house..."
