Preview Editor Volunteers Needed!

JOB:  Preview Editor

• Edit press releases into AP style short preview-- with an eye to keep very short and direct for time-strapped readers, and write appropriate social media post language for each story.

• Create picture previews, and write appropriate social media post language for each story.

• Optional-- help edit picture postcard articles.

• Optional -- be on standby for copy editing duties-- all types of articles and posts.

• Optional -- do layouts for all your stories, and learn how to do placeholder previews so you can add to the work of other teams using previews, such as the New York Theater team.

• Optional -- create and maintain a preview roundup in the category/s of your choice - similar to theater roundups-- any topic from Music Festivals This Summer, to Children's Picture Books, toHot New Albums, to Coming Soon etc.
