CHOIR BOY

CHOIR BOY tells the story of a gay teenage boy, set in an all African-American prep school. He aims to become leader of the school’s famous Gospel Choir and forges his own path. Written by Tarell Alvin McCraney, one of the Academy Award winning writers of MOONLIGHT.

September 27 – November 12, 2017

NICE GIRL

Written by Melissa Ross, NICE GIRL is set in 1984 Boston. A 37-year-old woman who still lives with her mother and works the same job finds herself becoming a spinster. As new opportunities arise she must figure out who she is and who she wants to be.

January 24 to March 11, 2018

THE GENTLEMAN CALLER

This new play written by Philip Dawkins imagines what might have happened behind closed doors between Tennessee Williams and William Inge. Two of America’s most famous playwrights, they both had yet to experience success when they met. We are taken behind the scenes in a play that explores the relationship between sex and art.

March 28 – May 13, 2018

SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMER

The last play of the season will be SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMMER by Tennessee Williams. It follows a wealthy New Orleans socialite and her niece as she tries to keep the circumstances of her son’s murder under wraps.

May 2 – June 17, 2018
