RAWdance activates San Francisco's Yerba Buena Lane to bring people together for an endorphin-filled community dance party, performances by some of the Bay's most innovative contemporary dance-makers, and a much needed jolt of positivity. Titled Dance Break, the four-hour, lunchtime event promises action for both spectators and participants alike in a uniquely San Francisco setting. Yerba Buena Lane is a pedestrian thoroughfare lined with restaurants, cafes, and bars serving up global cuisines, and connecting Market Street with some of the city’s venerable arts institutions, Yerba Buena Gardens, and Moscone Center. Dance Break is the newest production for RAWdance, a local dance organization that has been breaking down the barriers of traditional dance presentations and creating exciting and accessible dance experiences for over two decades..."
