Berlin— a city known for its vibrant arts scene— celebrates contemporary dance from within Germany and beyond in its famed Tanz im August Festival.
Tanz im August began in 1989, just a few months before the fall of the Berlin Wall.This year’s 38th Anniversary Festival includes 19 productions with a total of 54 events at 11 venues –including three premieres, six German premieres, and four Berlin and international co-productions.
