We feel surrounded as the D-Day soldiers did--
Sounds of battle are everywhere...
Exhortations from Winston Churchill and other wartime leaders compel us forward...
Arromanches 360 -- goes beyond surround sound to also envelop us in a circle of moving images, hence the name "360". We experience this film in a standing room only amphitheater, somewhat aware of the community around us. It is a shared experience--- not a silo of virtual reality.
The film finale is a musical plea for peace--- perhaps the most fitting of all tributes to war.
