A spokesperson for The Book of Mormon says the show “follows two young missionaries who are sent to Uganda to try to convert citizens to the Mormon religion.”
With book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone and choreography by Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker, The Book of Mormon has won nine Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album.
