THERE ARE NOW CALLS TO BOYCOTT THIS SHOW AND ALL THINGS DISNEY.
A spokesperson describes the event as follows:
“...In 2008, Rob Lake became the youngest magician in history to receive the holy grail of the magic world: The Merlin Award – as ‘International Stage Magician of the Year.’ This award is magic’s highest honor, and the industry equivalent of an Oscar.
Rob serves as magic consultant and illusion designer for TV series, films, Walt Disney Imagineering, Broadway shows, PR stunts and special events, and has even created illusions for fellow famous magicians...
...Joining Rob for show-stopping moments on stage is none other than Kermit the Frog, who will be joined by some of his friends from The Muppets to help bring their own wacky humor and magic to the illusions..."
